Dry dock storage

Our dry dock service offers a secure space for about ten catamarans and thirty monohulls, ideal for long periods of inactivity. During the cyclone season, from October to April, we can enhance the security of boats with stakes solidly anchored in the ground, supplemented by your own moorings for maximum protection. It is advisable to make this request and reserve your spot when planning your dry storage, given the high demand during this period.

We recommend making your request at least one year in advance to guarantee a spot during the cyclone season. However, do not hesitate to contact us even at the last minute; if immediate availability is not possible, we will place you on our waiting list.

Good to Know

Caretaking

A caretaking service can be provided in collaboration with a trusted provider, dedicated to the preservation and security of your boat during your absences.

Caretaking is mandatory for marina parking and strongly recommended for dry storage longer than 3 months to prevent common problems associated with prolonged inactivity, such as the formation of mold inside the boat, infestations of pests like cockroaches, rats, mason flies, and other potential issues.

Comfort and Accessibility

Marina

For parking your boat, whether for a short stopover or an extended stay, we can also offer our private marina. Renovated in 2023, our dock features modern facilities and a warm welcome for all sailors.

Access to water and electricity is made easy for all our visitors. A special key, available at the office against a deposit of 5,000 XPF, will allow you to use the water points. For electricity, our terminals are equipped with female 16 amp sockets; if you do not have the right plug, we offer them for sale.

We offer the possibility to live aboard during your stay at the marina (see our rates for short stays). Mooring bow to dock is mandatory due to the shallow depth near the pontoon, in order to protect rudders and other underwater equipment. Two long aft moorings are required for secure mooring to the mother chain.

Our marina accommodates boats with a draft up to 2.40 m, ensuring a safe haven for a wide variety of vessels.

Reservation procedure

Whether for dry storage or marina parking, you can reserve your spot in a few easy steps:

Request for Quotation: Send us your requests for quotes and availability via our contact form or at cni@mail.pf. We are here to answer all your questions.
Deposit: A deposit will be required to secure your reservation. The amount varies depending on the size of your boat and the planned duration of the stay.
Confirmation of Quotation: Please return the signed quotation to validate your request.
Internal Regulations: Please read, approve, and sign our internal regulations, then send them back to us to finalize the reservation.
